These terms and conditions apply to the dovento app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by dovento (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service.

Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application. Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial and efficient as possible. As such, they reserve the right to modify the Application or charge for their services at any time and for any reason. The Service Provider assures you that any charges for the Application or its services will be clearly communicated to you.

The Application stores and processes personal data that you have provided to the Service Provider in order to provide the Service. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your phone and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, which involves removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. Such actions could expose your phone to malware, viruses, malicious programs, compromise your phone's security features, and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions. Below are the links to the Terms and Conditions of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

• Google Play Services

Please be aware that the Service Provider does not assume responsibility for certain aspects. Some functions of the Application require an active internet connection, which can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of access to Wi-Fi or if you have exhausted your data allowance.

If you are using the application outside of a Wi-Fi area, please be aware that your mobile network provider's agreement terms still apply. Consequently, you may incur charges from your mobile provider for data usage during the connection to the application, or other third-party charges. By using the application, you accept responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the application outside of your home territory (i.e., region or country) without disabling data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you are using the application, they assume that you have obtained permission from the bill payer.

Similarly, the Service Provider cannot always assume responsibility for your usage of the application. For instance, it is your responsibility to ensure that your device remains charged. If your device runs out of battery and you are unable to access the Service, the Service Provider cannot be held responsible.

In terms of the Service Provider's responsibility for your use of the application, it is important to note that while they strive to ensure that it is updated and accurate at all times, they do rely on third parties to provide information to them so that they can make it available to you. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying entirely on this functionality of the application.

The Service Provider may wish to update the application at some point. The application is currently available as per the requirements for the operating system (and for any additional systems they decide to extend the availability of the application to) may change, and you will need to download the updates if you want to continue using the application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that it will always update the application so that it is relevant to you and/or compatible with the particular operating system version installed on your device. However, you agree to always accept updates to the application when offered to you. The Service Provider may also wish to cease providing the application and may terminate its use at any time without providing termination notice to you. Unless they inform you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must cease using the application, and (if necessary) delete it from your device.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may periodically update their Terms and Conditions. Therefore, you are advised to review this page regularly for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.

There is certain content we can’t allow on dovento

We have outlined what content and conduct is accepted on and off our App. You agree to comply with this, as may be updated from time to time.

We want our users to be able express themselves as much as possible on dovento, but we have to impose restrictions on certain content which:

• is illegal or encourages, promotes or incites any illegal activity;
• is harmful to minors;
• is defamatory or libelous;
• itself, or the posting of which, infringes any third party’s rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property rights and privacy rights);
• shows another person which was created or distributed without that person’s consent;
• contains language or imagery which could be deemed offensive or is likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person;
• is obscene, pornographic, violent or otherwise may offend human dignity;
• is abusive, insulting or threatening, discriminatory or which promotes or encourages racism, sexism, hatred or bigotry;
• relates to commercial activities (including, without limitation, sales, competitions and advertising, links to other websites or premium line telephone numbers);
• involves the transmission of “junk” mail or “spam”;
• impersonates or intends to deceive or manipulate a person (including, without limitation, scams and inauthentic behavior);
• It is not allowed to make commercial content and or events unless you have an agreement with dovento.
• contains any spyware, adware, viruses, corrupt files, worm programs or other malicious code designed to interrupt, damage or limit the functionality of or disrupt any software, hardware, telecommunications, networks, servers or other equipment, Trojan horse or any other material designed to damage, interfere with, wrongly intercept or expropriate any data or personal information whether from dovento or otherwise; or
• in any other way violates our Community Guidelines. 

Restrictions On The App

You agree to:

• comply with all applicable laws, including without limitation, privacy laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam laws, equal opportunity laws and regulatory requirements;
• use your real name and real age in creating your dovento account and on your profile; and
• use the services in a safe, inclusive and respectful manner.

You agree that you will not:

• act in an unlawful or disrespectful manner including being dishonest, abusive or discriminatory;
• misrepresent your identity, your age, your current or previous positions, qualifications or affiliations with a person or entity;
• disclose information that you do not have the consent to disclose;
• stalk or harass any other user of the App;
• use the App in any deceptive, inauthentic or manipulative way, including engaging in conduct or distributing content relating to scams, spam, inauthentic profiles or commercial and promotional activity;
• submit appeals, reports, notices or complaints that are manifestly unfounded; or;
• develop, support or use software, devices, scripts, robots, other types of mobile code or any other means or processes (including crawlers, browser plugins and add-on or other technology) to scrape or otherwise exfiltrate from dovento or its services, or otherwise copy profiles and other data from the services.

No criminal record check or identity verification

dovento does not conduct criminal record checks or identity verification of its users. While dovento strives to create a respectful user experience, dovento is not responsible for any user's behavior on or off the service. Use your best judgment when interacting with others and read our safety tips. You acknowledge that dovento does not conduct criminal record checks or identity verification of its users or otherwise investigate users' backgrounds. dovento makes no representations or warranties regarding users' behavior, identity, health, physical condition, intentions, legitimacy, or truthfulness. dovento reserves the right to conduct, and you grant dovento permission to conduct, criminal record checks or other screenings (such as searches of sex offender registries) at any time using available public records, and you agree that any information you provide may be used for this purpose. If the company decides to conduct a screening through a consumer reporting agency, you hereby authorize the company to obtain and use a consumer report about you to determine your eligibility under these terms. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We cannot and do not guarantee your safety. We are not a substitute for following our safety tips and other logical safety measures. Always use your best judgment and take appropriate safety precautions when communicating or meeting new people. Communication received via the service, including automatic messages sent by dovento, may result from users using the service for inappropriate purposes, including fraud, abuse, harassment, or other inappropriate behavior.. While dovento strives to create a respectful user experience, dovento is not responsible for any user's behavior on or off the service. You agree to exercise caution in all your interactions with other users, especially if you decide to communicate outside the service or meet in person.

ONLINE SAFETY

Never Send Money or Share Financial Information Never send money, especially via wire transfer, even if the person claims to be in an emergency. Transferring money is like sending cash — it's nearly impossible to reverse the transaction or trace where the money was sent. Never share information that could be used to access your financial accounts. If a user asks you for money, report it to us immediately.

Protect Your Personal Information Never share personal information, such as your social security number, home or work address, or details about your daily routine (e.g., you go to a specific gym every Monday) with people you don’t know. If you are a parent, limit the information you share about your children on your profile and in early communications. Avoid sharing details such as your children’s names, where they go to school, or their ages or genders.

Be Cautious with Long-Distance and Overseas Relationships Beware of scammers claiming to be from your country but stuck somewhere else, especially if they ask for financial help to return home. Be skeptical of anyone who doesn’t want to meet in person or talk on the phone/video call—they might not be who they say they are. If someone avoids answering your questions or pushes for a serious relationship without first meeting you or getting to know you, consider it a red flag.

Report All Suspicious and Offensive Behavior You know when someone has crossed the line, and when they do, we want to hear about it. Block and report anyone who violates our terms. Here are some examples of violations:

• Requests for money or donations
• Underage users
• Harassment, threats, and offensive messages
• Inappropriate or harmful behavior during or after meeting in person
• Fraudulent profiles
• Spam or solicitations, including links to commercial websites or attempts to sell products or services
• Creating events that go against our user guidelines

Protect Your Account Make sure to choose a strong password, and always be cautious when logging into your account from a public or shared computer. dovento will never email you asking for your username and password—if you receive an email asking for account information, report it immediately.

ADS AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

You may see advertisements and promotions from third parties on our services. dovento does not endorse and is not responsible for your interaction with these products or services.

Our services may contain advertisements and offers from third parties as well as links to other websites or resources. Additionally, our services may give you the option to view an advertisement in exchange for virtual items. dovento does not guarantee that you will always be eligible to view such advertisements, or that such advertisements will be available. dovento may also provide non-commercial links or references to third parties in its content. dovento is not responsible for the availability (or lack of availability) of external websites or resources or their content. Furthermore, dovento is not responsible for and does not endorse any products or services that may be offered by third-party websites or resources. If you choose to interact with third parties made available through our services, such parties' terms will govern their relationship with you. dovento is not responsible or liable for such third parties' terms or actions.

YOUR CONTENT

You agree that Your Content must comply with our restrictions as updated from time to time. As Your Content is unique, you are responsible and liable for Your Content. You will indemnify, defend, release, and hold us harmless from any claims made in connection with Your Content. Sorry that was a bit of a mouthful, but you are what you post!

You may not display any personal contact or banking information on your individual profile page whether in relation to you or any other person (for example, names, home addresses or postcodes, telephone numbers, email addresses, URLs, credit/debit card or other banking details). If you do choose to reveal any personal information about yourself to other users, whether via email or otherwise, it is at your own risk. We encourage you to use the same caution in disclosing details about yourself to third parties online as you would under any other circumstances.

As dovento is a public community, Your Content will be visible to other users of the App all around the world - so make sure you are comfortable sharing Your Content before you post. As such, you agree that Your Content may be viewed by other users and any person visiting, participating in or who is sent a link to the App (e.g. individuals who receive a link to a user’s profile or shared content from other dovento Users). By uploading Your Content on dovento, you represent and warrant to us that you have all necessary rights and licenses to do so, and automatically grant us a non-exclusive, royalty free, perpetual, worldwide license to use Your Content in any way (including, without limitation, editing, copying, modifying, adapting, translating, reformatting, creating derivative works from, incorporating into other works, advertising, distributing and otherwise making available to the general public such Content, whether in whole or in part and in any format or medium currently known or developed in the future).

We may assign and/or sub-license the above license to our affiliates and successors without any further approval by you.

We do not have any obligation to store Your Content - if it’s important, you should make a copy.

Disclaimers:

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information provided by third parties through our services.
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark.

Severability Clause: If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Age Restriction: You must be 18 years or older to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet the age requirement.

User Agreement to Terms: By using our services, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

Notification of Changes: We will notify you of any changes to these terms and conditions by posting the updated version on our website or within the app. Your continued use of our services after the changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Limitation of Liability: We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of our services.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless dovento from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to your use of our services.

Termination Policy: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice.

Acceptance of Terms: Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions, as may be amended from time to time.
